Jeanette Stewart was born on December 22, 1937, in Eastman, Georgia, to Juanita (Pickett) Clark and Leroy Rozier.
Jeanette was raised in Eastman, Georgia, until the age of 9, and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Woodward High School and became a LPN in 1955. In 1969, she began working as a clerk for the City of Cincinnati and retired from there in the year 2000.
Jeanette met Kaiser Stewart, Jr. in 1967. They were married on October 14, 1967, and enjoyed a long marriage for 46 years. From this union were born two children, Kaiser Stewart III., and Jeneen Stewart-Grant.
Jeanette accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior as a young adult. She attended Zion Baptist Church for 20+ years and Olivet Baptist Church for 35+ years. Jeanette was active in many ministries over the years at both churches.
Jeanette was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. She was known for her unwavering faith and trust in God. Jeanette always had a word of encouragement and a smile to share with everyone she met. She relied heavily on her faith, husband, and family during difficult trials.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita Clark, and Leroy Rozier; her husband, Kaiser Stewart Jr.; her sisters, Maxine Clark and Ossie Johnson; and her brother, Donald Clark.
Jeanette leaves to cherish her memories; her son, Kaiser Stewart III. (Jennifer Rolon) of New Jersey; her daughter, Jeneen Stewart-Grant; sisters, Yvonne Manuel, Yvette Jones, and Brenda Holliday, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Anthony Clark, Sr. (Alexis) of Louisville, Kentucky; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; an aunt, Eunice Smith, of Blythe Wood, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Jeanette will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her loving and humble spirit, her strong faith in God, her incredible knack for telling a story, and her keen sense of humor will always be remembered. She has left a legacy for her children, grand, and great grandchildren that they can be proud of and follow through their lifetimes.
