James Davis, age 88, passed away on March 30, 2022. James was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky on July 9, 1933, to James Davis and Bessie Lee. James was married to Hilda Lacy Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Davis, and Bessie Lee; wife, Hilda Davis; daughter, Bette Davis Beasley; and great-grandchild, LaPercy Demond Allen Jr.

He is survived by his children, Wanda Sloan, Mary Escabi, Tyrone Crawford, Vera (Tony) Sharp, James (Victoria) Davis Jr., Sigmund Davis, and Miriam Davis; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Overflow Ministries Covenant Church 10870 Hamilton Ave Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. A funeral service will follow beginning at 12:00 PM

Interment will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
