James Dedric Edward Ellis

James D. E. Ellis, Beloved husband of Terrell (McDade) Ellis loving father to Shamar Ellis, Vanyshia Wright and Liana Phoenix. Brother of Gwendolyn(Ellis) Tawana( Carter) and Mary Wiley(Carter) and his parents Jeanette Ellis-Carter and Edward G. Carter Jr.
James accepted Christ at an early while attending New Temple Baptist Church under the guidance of Rev H.D. McBride and never lost his faith.
James was a graduate of Hughes High School class of 1992 where he found his passion for computers which he later turned into a small business. All the while developing a strong taste to entertain others with music while working as a Security guard, Thus the name “D.J. Security”. Many knew his style and requested his presence at many functions throughout Cincinnati.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents James E. Ellis and Bessie M. Wallace and his favorite Aunt Annette Ellis. James lost his 2-year battle with cancer surrounded by family and friends
James leaves to mourn his passing (4) grandchildren Shamar Jr. Dakari, Davayda and Sean, Special cousins Jeff “Butter” Ellis, Chris Ellis, Joey Ellis and Jeff Williams, Quentin Armstrong and Diane Payton(Britford). Aunt Gail White and Uncles Jeff L. Ellis Sr. Greg Vails and a host of nieces and nephews’ other cousins and his Special Aunt Melanie Wolfe.
