Reverend Isaiah Rudolph Jr. was born August 4, 1943, in Chapman, Alabama. He was the third of ten children born to Isaiah Rudolph Sr. and Dorothy Rudolph, both deceased.
On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, his life journey came to a peaceful close, God called our beloved home. His legacy, however, will undoubtedly continue to uplift others who knew and loved him. He lived a long and fulfilling life.
Isaiah Rudolph was united in marriage to Angela (Brewer) Rudolph on December 31, 2009, they were married for 14 years. There are no children in this union. Isaiah has two daughters from a former marriage.
Isaiah received his formal education in the Public Schools of Georgiana, Alabama. Isaiah moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1965. He worked for Metropolitan Housing in the maintenance department until he retired. Reverend Isaiah was the pastor of Marbel Memorial United Methodist Church.
Reverend Isaiah was a dedicated spiritual leader.
He went to Temple Bible College and Seminary, where he received his Associate Degree in Theology on the 7th day of June in the year of 1983. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree on the 4th day of June in the year of 1985.
Throughout his life, Reverend Rudolph was a respected spiritual leader earning the admiration and love of his family, church and community. His nicknames such as Daddy, Grandpa, Rev., Brother, and Uncle Jr., reflect the significant impact he had on those around him.
In his spare time, Isaiah loved gardening, reading, cooking, and having gatherings with family and friends.
He will forever be remembered for his smile, love, kindness, generosity, being a sharp dresser and known as Mr. Bible. Isaiah loved spreading the Word of God to others.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, Isaiah Rudolph Sr. and Dorothy Rudolph; brothers Willie Dell Rudolph and James Terry Rudolph; sisters Dorothy Ellen Leatherwood and Laveda Davenport; niece Pamela Michelle Pugh and nephew Timothy Pugh.
Reverend Isaiah leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife Angela Rudolph, daughters Cassandra Kay Collins and Angela Lynn Rudolph; sisters Judy Rudolph Pugh, Carol Elaine Scurry, and Cynthia Haslip; brothers, Steven Rudolph and Lynn Rudolph; grandchildren Eric Leaks, Bianca Collins, Bryce Hunt, and Egypt Hunt; great grandchildren Grayson Isaiah Collins, Chosen Collins, and Zayn Jamal Leaks; long time dear friends Charles and Wynnett Lee and Calvin Alston; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
