Irene Person, age 79, passed away on March 7, 2022. Irene was born in Newport News, Virginia to Archie Alston and Ruth Nicholson on March 28, 1942. Irene was married to Spencer Person and to this union was born two sons, Lyle and Craig.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Alston and Ruth Nicholson; husband, Spencer Person; and brother, Archie Alston.

She is survived by her two sons, Lyle (Anita) Person, and Craig Person; two grandchildren, Amaya and Logan; brother, Marvin Smith; two sisters, Elaine and Lorraine; and a host of other family and friends.

Public Viewing will be held Friday, March 11, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thompson, Hall & Jordan Funeral Home 11400 Winton Road, Forest Park, Ohio 45240.

Interment will take place at Sandhills State Veteran Cemetery in Spring Lake, North Carolina.
