Iyla Erica Johnson, age 6, gained her wings on August 21st 2022. Iyla was born on May 31st, 2016 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the arms of her loving parents Darlene Flores and Eric Johnson. Iyla was a very loving, social and outgoing child. She enjoyed dancing, singing, martial arts, gymnastics, gaming and making Tik Tok videos. She looked forward to playing tennis in the coming season. Her favorite colors were Purple and Black. Her favorite foods were bacon and tacos. Iyla kept Jesus Christ close to her heart and showed her love and devotion through her art, which is displayed prominently throughout her home.
Iyla is survived by her loving mother, Darlene, and adoring siblings Dyamond, Eric Jr. and Rodrigo, maternal grandparents Michael & Norma Ryan, paternal grandparents Lawrence & Celeste Johnson. A viewing service and prayer will be held on Saturday September 3rd, 2022 at Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption at 1140 Madison Ave. Covington Ky 41011 from 10AM to 2PM.
