Idella Fears (Mulder) was born on January 31, 1921, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late John Mulder and Odessa Long Mulder. She attended Harriet Beecher Stowe School.
On November 22, 1952, Idella was united in Holy Matrimony to Paul Fears, who preceded her in death. Together, they shared a loving union built on faith and devotion.
Throughout her career, Idella worked at Cincinnati General Hospital, the Board of Education at Walnut Hills High School, and the Cincinnati Recreation Center. Her dedication and strong work ethic earned the respect of those who knew and worked with her.
Idella was a faithful member of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, where she worshipped under the leadership of the late Rev. T. C. Morris. What Idella enjoyed most was giving praise and worship to God and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed attending Friday night bible study faithfully every Friday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Fears; her son, Artice Mulder, Sr.; and her daughter, Lillian Mulder.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Vivian Ann Harris (Mulder) and Jennie Mae Marble (Mulder); her granddaughters, Lenette Manor (Mulder), Arethea Thomas (Mulder), and Carmen Juanita Jones; and her grandson, Artice Mulder, Jr.
She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
