Howard R. Combs II, son to the proud parents of Howard and Evelyn Combs, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 24, 1941. He was one of four children; sister, Dianne, and brothers, Terry, and Rusty, raised in the close-knit community of Lincoln Heights. Howard was called home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2022.
Howard enlisted into the US Marine Corps, July 13, 1959, where he proudly served his country and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal for his exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity; before he was honorably discharged on July 12, 1963. On July 31, 1965, he married the love of his life, Joyce Mealy. From this union were born two sons, Brandon, and Mathew Combs.
Howard worked for Cincinnati Milacron for 35 years and retired in 2000. He believed in working hard and taking care of his family. He was a man of faith and proudly proclaimed his love for Jesus. Howard led bible studies, boldly teaching others about the word of God. He used his life and actions to be a living testimony.
Howard loved watching football, specifically the Bengals and Ohio State. He was also all about his family. He loved to share his time with them, no matter where they were.
Howard is survived by his wife, Joyce Combs; his sister, Dianne Combs; sons, Brandon Combs and Mathew Combs; and four wonderful grandchildren.
