Horace Williams was born October 13, 1944, to Horace and Leola Williams in Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed this life on December 9, 2022. Horace devoted his life to Christ in his early years and was a member of Metropolitan CME Church, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Horace was educated at Central High Vocational School where he obtained a Welding Certification. He furthered his education at the University of Cincinnati at night while working at CEEMCO. Horace was hand selected by the owner of CEEMCO, Clarence Ensminger, who took him under his wings.
Horace was drafted into the Army in August, 1968. When he returned from the Vietnam War, Horace went back to work at CEEMCO and was employed there for about 50 years. During his tenure, he worked his way up to General Manager and held that position until his retirement. In retirement, he continued to work at CEEMCO as a consultant.
One June 29, 1973, Horace was united in marriage to Norma Ann Lee, who brought three sons into the union: Reginald, Christopher and Terrence. Horace, who was affectionately known as “Bruh,” was a charismatic, fun-loving, compassionate guy who was well loved and respected. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
Horace was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Leola, and sisters, Ivory Bowen and Joanne Hocker. He leaves to mourn, wife Norma Ann; sons, Reginald (Juralene), Christopher (Sonja), and Terrence (Sherri); special-in-law, Darnita Lee; seven grandchildren, Ebony DuBose (Anthony), Brandi Lee, Carlos Lee, Horace Lee (Sheree), Marcel Lee (Jessica), Cameron Lee (Kianna) and Ka’Lil Lee (Jamyia); 22 great grandchildren, niece, Jennifer Godbold (Irish), nephews, William Bowen (Gretchen), Jamar Hocker (Donna), Arman Hocker (Desiree); brothers-in-law, Howard Tribble (Joyce), Greggory Tribble (Willette), Gary Tribble (Linder) and Marvin Tribble; sisters-in-law, Doris Tribble, Marilyn Tribble and Mary Tribble and a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
