Hattie Frances Greene was born on March 20, 1947 in Maysville, Kentucky. She was the first child born to the union of William and Katie (Commodore) Greene.
Hattie attended John G. Fee High School. As a young woman, Hattie migrated to Cincinnati, Ohio with her young family in tow. Because of her caring and compas-sionate spirit, Hattie was attracted to the healthcare field. As a result, she had a life-long career as a Certified Patient Caregiver for various nursing homes throughout the city.
Hattie was known to many as a fun-loving and gener-ous woman, who would give you the shirt off her back if you were in need. All of her life, Hattie loved pretty dolls. Even into adulthood, her visitors would see an ornate doll perched in a prominent spot in her home.
Family was important to Hattie. She spent a good many years raising her granddaughters and she often looked forward to visits to Maysville to see her family.
