Harriet Agnes (Daniels) Hazeley, known to many as “TeeDee” was born into this world on October 20, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the parents of the late Walter Ross Sr. and Clara Daniels. Harriet was the eighth of twelve siblings, seven of which preceded her in death. Harriet departed this life to be with the Lord on December 18, 2011 in her home.
Harriet married Clifford Hazeley who preceded her in death.
Harriet was baptized, made her First Communion and was confirmed at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church in the West End. She graduated from Our Lady of Mercy. Harriet?s church membership was Saint Mark Catholic Church where she was a founding member of its food pantry and selflessly served as an usher along with other church programs. She later joined The Church of the Resurrection.
Harriet was employed and retired from Johnson Hardin Publishing Company. She was dedicated to the service of others, therefore TeeDee pursued many volunteer opportunities such as Business Manager at Saint Mark Catholic School, altruistically volunteered many years with The Center for Closing the Health Gap in Greater Cincinnati, and volunteering with The University Hospital Ambassador Program. Due to her commitment for social equality, she was also a spirited volunteer for injustice and actively involved in the political arena.
Harriet leaves to cherish: a loving daughter, Deborah Hazeley; two loving sons, Mandell (Tienna) and Rodney (Carol) Hazeley; six grand-children, Damian (Deanna), Hasani (Madeline), Aisha, Carin, Manu and Shardé; five great- grandchildren, Christopher, Kyla, Ronnie, Chase and Drew.
Harriet also leaves two sisters, June Grag-ston and Vera Mundy; two brothers, Calvin (Carole) and Charles (Pam) Daniels; her dear cousin, Charlene Lewis; a life long friend, Geneva Davis; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and church family.
