Although I never had a chance to meet you, I feel like I know you from listening to Thomas. Memories will keep you close in the hearts of the family, a small ray of sunshine will let them know you miss them as well. Continue to hold to God’s unchanging hands

I was blessed to be invited into your home and share in the joy and love that permeated the air. It was a home built with more than the man-made materials used by the contractors. It had a solid foundation of faith, built on a rock that you laid down and your children dutifully maintained. Laughter, cries, tears and smiles heard and seen through the years spread from the physical walls and extended into the community--the spiritual walls of your home encompassed, protected, nurtured and nourished many of us who became members of your family by marriage or simply by the extension of love your offspring carried into the lives. They lived what they had learned. They learned what they had lived. As you move into your Father's House, we celebrate your life and your transition. We recognize your deeds, your genuine commitment to what was right not what was easy, comfortable or expediently in the moment. We will bear witness to your legacy, the reaping of the harvests and gifts to come in future years--as the seeds you have sown continue to bare fruit and keep you and memories of you forever fresh in our minds and hearts. I extend my deepest condolences to the family, children and grandchildren of Gretna Gans, especially Tommy who brought me into their home. The greatest comfort I can extend to the family is that which has already been provided by the life of their matriarch--the absolute certainty that Sister Gans has gone home. God bless and keep you all.

“The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away...earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal”...may the soul of the departed Rest In Peace and may light perpetual always shine upon your loved one Mrs. Gans. Tom is a dear friend and a former co-worker whom I’ve known for a few years. I wanted to share these precious words with him doing this time of mourning. Blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted. Lord you are close to the broken hearted and to those whose spirits are crushed. Draw close to this family and rescue them. Help them not to grieve like those who haven’t discovered Your kindness and mercy, who have no hope. Lift them up and give them hope. Help the family to believe that tomorrow will be better and the next day will be easier, and that a day will come when the family will feel a surge of energy and expectation for what God is doing and where He will take you. In Jesus name. Amen My sincere condolences of love, peace, blessings and hope to the family.:pray::skin-tone-4::dove_of_peace:

May the Lord bless you and keep you in this time of sorrow, reminding you of treasured memories, and the gift of shared love. May he inspire you with the reflection of heaven in earth, from the seeds and flowers, to the mountains and springs. And may you feel the Lord with you, walking besides you in the loneliness, taking your hand in the hardest times and carrying you through the waters of grief. May you be safe and treasured in his loving arms. Sincerest condolences to the Gans Family for the loss of your dear mother. It was a pleasure to have known her, and to have shared so many laughs. God in his mercy has taken her to everlasting life.
