George Dees was a wonderful Christian. I have just discovered he has moved into God's nearer presence. He was an angel to my mother and aunt. I am returning for a visit to Ohio for the first time in many years and am very sad I will not be able to see George.

Condolences and prayer to the family. Deacon Dees was a friend, stand in Daddy and Grand Daddy to my boys. He sung Sweet Hour of Prayer at my Daddy’s home going service. Donovan and Devinn adored him and I treasured him. As it turned out he even knew my Great Uncle Archie Riddell from 1st Baptist Elsmere who had helped him years ago when he had a flat tire. Deacon Dees was selfless dedicated to work for the Lord in anyway he could. He loved to sing and his music ministry through the Male Chorus gained him the respect and admiration of other male groups around the city who invited him to sing with them at a city wide concert when the New J Male Chorus had missed their invitation. He told me he sat alone but time after time the groups would call him to join them and that meant the world to him. He will be missed by all who knew him. He never said good bye he preferred to say Later. Thank you for showing what a true Good and Faithful servant is. In deeds and attitude. Our Beloved Deacon. Because of him I know I Can Depend on God.
