Gene was born May 9, 1943, to the late Helen Fleming (Watson). He married Marcia Fleming (Foster) on August 31, 1974 and they shared over 51 years together.
He is lovingly remembered by his children: Gina Seaton, Brandy Fleming-Brooks, and Gene F. Fleming (Christine); his grandchildren: Jeffery Holmes, Jasmine Seaton, Tyrell Seaton, Deserae (Perry) White, Kwain Seaton, Kwaintikwa Seaton, Brandon Fleming-Hill, Laricus Seaton, Elise Fleming, Melanie Fleming, Zoë Fleming; and his 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Vernon Watson (Vicki), William Watson (Jean), Deborah Elkins-Brown (Darrell), and Jackie Daniels; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Gene will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to family, his kind spirit, his sense of humor and the many lives he touched through his love and presence.
