Gary Nigel Ervin, born on September 6, 1971, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Gary Charles Ervin and Serrecia L. Ervin, transitioned to glory on April 10th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He was 53 years old.
Gary grew up in Cincinnati and attended Mt. Healthy High School, He continued his education at Central State University, where he pursued college studies with pride and determination.
At a very early age Gary accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at Second Corinthian Baptist Church, Cincinnati OH. He enjoyed going to Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and singing in the youth choir.
As a sports advocate and a die-hard Bengals fan through thick and thin, Gary was also a passionate supporter of the Lakers and a Kobe Bryant fan. He always wore his team colors with pride.
Preceded in death by Gary Charles Ervin (Father), Nicole Marie Chambers (Sister).
A devoted son, Gary is survived by his loving mother, Serrecia, and his 5 siblings, Dante, Wanda, Saunja, Tone, & Kevin. He was a proud father to Tremayne (Alisah), Chaari (Erik), and Aniya, and a beloved grandfather to Jaiden, Jael, Taylor, Aubrey, Jamie, Maleah, and Jai. Rosetta(Wife), Kendra(Old Friend), and Rachelle(Close Friend). His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Gary’s life was one full of adventure and excitement as he loved to go with the flow, He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him and will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
