Frazier Lee Dunn (known to some as Sam) was born April 6, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Aurthur and Mamie Dunn. He was the fourth of six children. He departed this earthly life on July 27, 2026.
Frazier attended and graduated from Cincinnati Public schools in 1971. At an early age, he started to sing in the church choir and later sang in a few gospel groups.
From the early 70’s until the 2000’s, he served his city and community professionally and as a leader. His service included volunteering during elections as a Poll Worker. From 1971-1973, he became an employee at the Board of Elections and later retired from the City of Cincinnati’s Highway Maintenance Department after 30 years of service. During this time, he also prioritized teaching his community self defense for several decades as a Six Degree Blackbelt.
On June 6, 1981, he joined in matrimony with Mattie Watson. To this union Karrissa and Cameron Dunn were born.
After retirement, Frazier enjoyed performing with his gospel groups and finding ways to stay fit and maintain his health.
Frazier was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Mamie, brother: Edwin Dunn, daughter: Maria Brooks, and nephew: Anthony Tribble.
He leaves to cherish his memory of love and life: siblings: Linder Tribble, Charlotte Dunn, Costello Moore, and Arthur Dunn Jr., and children: Karrissa Williams (Tikii), Sherrie Sims, Mykeisha Smith, Cameron Brown, Cameron Dunn, and Shawn Russell. He was also blessed with a host of 15 grandchildren, 1 great grand child , wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
