Faheemah Sahar Muhammad, 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on February 2, 2026, at University Hospital.
Faheemah was born on February 21, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at Cincinnati General Hospital, to Grace Foster, and through the love of family, was raised by her aunt and uncle, Roberta and Charlie Hillman, who nurtured and supported her throughout her life. She attended Walnut Hills Junior High School and later transferred to Withrow High School, where she graduated. She then began working at University Hospital in administration, where she retired after 35 years of service.
She was the most loving, caring, giving, and charismatic woman whose greatest joy in life was her family. She had a remarkable way of making everyone around her feel valued, supported, and deeply loved. She was known for her thoughtful guidance, insightful advice, and nurturing spirit. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those blessed to know her. She dedicated her life to caring for others and created a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience that will live on through her family and all whose lives she touched.
Faheemah is survived by her husband, Khalid A.H. Muhammad; her four children, Shahid I. Muhammad, Alcia M. Browne (Lyndon), Aljeana N. Turner, and Nashid J. Muhammad; her two siblings, Shirley A. Tarpley (Johnny) and Raymond Taylor (Nita); her six grandchildren, Samirah H. Muhammad, Shahid I. Muhammad Jr., Vernon C. Turner (Anna), Amaya N. Turner, Talmus R. Brown Jr., and Valen C. Turner; and her great-grandchild, Iris A. Turner. She also leaves her dear and lifelong friend, Nena Kennedy, who meant the world to her and remained by her side until the very end. In addition to her lifelong friend, she is lovingly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Pope (Billy), Denise Dorsey (Tony), and Virginia Clay (Billy); and her brothers, Milton Taylor (Annette) Robert Taylor (Judy), Jackie Taylor (Gloria), Lester Taylor, and Earnest Taylor (Dottie).
