Evelyn Faye Davis was Born May 5, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Reverend William Haliburn Hazierley and Annie Mae Watkins. She departed this life, April 24, 2026, 7:49 p.m. at Meadow Falls of Finneytown Assisted Living.
She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and has been a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church since and Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Glendale from, where she served on the Usher Board and sang in the choir.
She attended Woodward High School, going on to attend Bennett College for a year. She became an Executive Secretary working for Longview Hospital, Jewish Hospital, and Honeywell where she retired from. Once she retired, she worked for the Cincinnati Public Library (also retired from) and volunteered for the YMCA.
Mrs. Davis was an avid reader and loved to curl up with a good mystery and biographical book in the evenings. She also loved to bowl alongside her husband Ace Davis. She fought for her right to work and was an advocate for human rights.
She leaves to cherish in her loving memory: preceding her in death her husband Ace Davis in 1994 and her brother Clifford Hazley in 2011, her beloved children Anginette Colman, Lettie Ann, Jeffrey Ace, and Jessica Ardin McIntyre; her beautiful grandchildren Stephanie Piert, Jonathan A. Davis, Jasmine A. Davis, Alan M. McIntyre II, and Ashlyn M. McIntyre; great grandchildren Xander Davis, Jaxon Davis, Malaiah Monteiro, Kyra Piert, and Charlie Piert. A very dear cousin, Hollis Paige and the Favors Family; and survived by a host of other relatives, family and friends. We would like to thank you for your attendance and prayers today.
