Eugene Hatcher was born on April 29, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the parents of Thomas J. Hatcher and Louise (Wellington) Hatcher.
Eugene was a mechanic by trade and worked in his uncle’s gas station “Hatcher’s Texaco” for over 40 years.
His hobbies were roller skating and fast cars. He also enjoyed long Sunday drives with the family.
Eugene was married in 1958 to Viola Delores (Bennett) Hatcher. He left this earthly life on December 31, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife Viola Delores (Bennett) Hatcher; his brothers, Cleophus, Thomas, Emmett (Wayne), Erwin (Spud), and one sister, Ann.
He leaves to mourn his lost daughters; Viola Sheryl Crockett, Tina (Robert) Latham, and Delores Anita Hatcher; sons, Terrell Evans, and Eugene Richardson; 9 grandchildren, Dante, Viola Darice, DeRico, DeNard, DeAngelo, Delynn, Dayln, Brian, and Jiyanna; 10 great grandchildren, Dante Brooklyn, Tyler, Viola (Lola), Aurora, Jace, Aalyiah, Payton, Naomi, and Davinci; one brother, Wanless Hatcher; 4 sisters-in-law, Eliza Hatcher, Charlene (Patrick) Flowers, Pattie Hatcher, and Karla (Steve) Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
