Elnora Higgins was born March 30, 1933, in Crawfordville, Georgia, to the late Lessie Pearl (Williams) Allen and James B Allen. Elnora departed this life peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Tyree Bell, and husband Mose A. Higgins.

She is survived by her children Linda Anderson (Donald, deceased); Emily Bell Moore, Harry Bell (Venita); Terry Bell, Connie Higgins, Tracie Higgins and one sister, Vandora Edwards. She leaves behind six grandchildren Dr. Brandon (Christine), Jamien (Diamond), Franklin (Ashleigh), Justin, Brittani and Courtney (Robert); seven great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

The family of Elnora Higgins would like to give a heartfelt thanks to Grace Hospice staff and nurses for making her final days comforting and peaceful.

Visitation hours will be on Friday, July 9 at Thompson, Hall & Jordan funeral, 11400 Winton Rd., from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., followed by the internment at Spring Grove Cemetery. The repast will take place at Winton Centre Auditorium (adjacent from Winton Woods park and walking trail) at 10245 Winton Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
