




















On February 1. 2015, God said Delores “It is time for you to take your rest and called her home.” She was born January 31, 1926 in Bayview, Alabama to Ernestine Ellis and Willie Taylor but was adopted by Baxter and Lullie Howard and lovingly raised in Fairmont West Virginia where she graduated from Dunbar High School.
Delores lived in Toledo for some years, before settling down in Akron, Ohio and marrying Clifford O’Neil Tyler, She worked for Roadway Express and retired from there after 25 years of employment she loved car pooling with Janet Lash and talking for hours after work into the wee hours of the night.
Delores was a past member of Second Baptist and Tabernacle Baptist Church under the leadership of Isiah F. Paul, but in the early 1990’s She joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where she served faithfully as past President of the Deaconess Board and also was a Mother of the Church she loved her Church and her Church Family.
Delores gained pleasure in gardening and received numerous awards from the City of Akron for her beautifully landscaped yard that she would sit for hours out in and tend too. She was a true Cleveland Indian Fan and watched the games faithfully and loved eating at the Cathedral Buffet.
She is proceeded in death by her Biological mother Ernestine Ellis, her Father and Mother Baxter and Lullie Howard Sisters Evelyn Drake Marjorie Howard and Barbara Howard Daniels Step-Son Richard Tyler niece Marjorie Drake and nephew Roland Drake.
She is survived by her only child LeTecia Cunningham, Son In Love Eric Cunningham, Nephew Marcus Daniels(whom she loved as a Son), Step Daughters Karen Tyler Janine Tyler both of Columbus 3 grandchildren EliJah Sincere-Leigh and Damon, God Daughters Karen Cale Barbara Williams Angela Dennis Gloria Ely her Faithful Friends of many years Mary Lytle Mrs. Alford and Janet Lash and a host of nephew nieces family and friends.
She stood firm on the word of God and is now receiving her just reward.
She would say don’t cry for me when I’m gone .Rejoice for I’ve got the …VICTORY.
