The west end once was a village and we were the kind of people who knew everybody ! And it was a time when we looked up to the people older than us ! And being younger than brother Chatman ,my friends and I had the honor and privilege of having such a wonderful person teach us life sports and respect! He carried himself as a man when he was a teenager ! And he loved his family ! I am saddened and will miss him ! My sister worked with him in the police department , one day we ran into him working a detail a Kroger . My sister told me that day he always had her back and it made her covered! I could never just walk by I had to stop and talk . He was one of the best ! To his wife children Family and Friends I say you have condolences from the Walker family ! And we all are better for knowing him! GOD BLESS

Darryl was truly one of the nicest people I've ever met, always well spoken, friendly and kind. I first met him when I worked at Kroger while he was doing details, then he married my fun, loving cousin Rose. Now his family has an angel, he had cancer but cancer didn't have him! Rest In Paradise

When the Cincinnati Rhinos would have the annual Celebrity softball games in 1997 raising money for various organizations, Darryl would volunteer to be the umpire. His life was a blessing to everyone, I go back and look at some of those games, they are some of the best memories of Darryl that I'm glad I have. We are gonna miss you my friend RIP.
