Damarian Deandre Edwards, age 20, departed this life on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Damarian was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to his loving parents, Donesia L. James and Howard D. Edwards on August 20, 2001. From a young child, Damarian was known for his stylish dressing, infectious smile, and loving spirit. Damarian accepted Christ on May 2, 2014, at Inspirational Baptist Church in Forest Park, Ohio.

Damarian graduated at the age of 16 from Hillcrest Academy. He was the first to graduate from the program and was accepted at the age of 16 to attend Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio.

Damarian had a special bond with kids. He was a lover of dogs, motorcycles and loved to learn new things. He learned construction from his dad at an early age. Damarian held a special place in everyone’s heart and went by several nicknames; Chucky, Shorty Pimp’n, and many others.

Damarian leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Donesia L. James, and Howard D. Edwards; stepmom, Amia Lovett; stepdad, Shamsud-Din Pickens Sr.; his siblings, DeAira Edwards, Tristen Edwards, Shamsud-Din Pickens Jr., Shamsiir Pickens; stepsisters, Jala Moore, Shamerah Pickens, nephew, Levi Cuero; great-grandmother, Barbara James; grandmother, Yolanda James; grandfather, Robert Williams; aunt, Mallie Edwards; uncles: Jimi Glover Jr., Brandon James and a host of great aunts, uncle, cousins, and friends He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Priscilla Edwards; great grandparent, Christine Green; uncles, George Edwards Jr., Timothy Davis, Michael Applewhite

Public Visitation will take place on Monday, September 27, 2021, beginning at 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at New Prospect Baptist Church, 1580 Summit Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45237. Service will follow beginning at 12:00 PM. Pastor Damon Lynch III Officiating.

Interment will follow at Landmark Memorial Gardens 1600 Glendale-Milford Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215.
