Creola Heath was born on July 12, 1931 in Beatrice, Alabama, to the late John and Leola Stallworth. She departed this life on December 19, 2014 at 12:03 am at home.
Creola attended and graduated from Monroe County Training School. She attended college at A&M College in Tampa, Florida and received a degree in music. After college, Creola became a church musician playing the piano at Morning Star Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida.
Creola moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1962 and was employed at UC Medical Center.
Creola attended Bethlehem Baptist Church and then became a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Leola Stallworth; a son, Vyrl Best; a sister, Eunice Ishom; and a brother, Roosevelt Stallworth.
She leaves to cherish her memory: five children, Pat Turner of Atlanta, Georgia, Allen Reed, Kenneth Taylor, Vincent Best and Lisa Heath; one sister, Grace Duncan; three brothers, Leon Stallworth, Sherman Stallworth and John Stallworth, Jr.; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grand- children and three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
