Clifford James Roseberry Jr. “AKA Duna” was born on March 12, 1954, to the late Clifford James Roseberry Sr. and the late Elsie Cox. Due to the untimely death of Clifford Sr., Elsie married Thomas Cox Jr. (Dad) who raised him to be the man he was today.
Clifford Jr. was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where he resided from childhood through adulthood throughout several communities within the Greater Cincinnati area: Walnut Hills, Avondale, Downtown and East End. Clifford received his formal education through the Cincinnati Public School System. He attended Windsor elementary School (Walnut Hills) and later attended Withrow High School (Hyde Park). After completion of his education, Clifford Jr. enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was stationed in Camp Pendleton California and served his country from 1972-1974, (Thank you for your service)
Clifford James Roseberry Jr. and Teresa Conyers entered holy matrimony on September 15, 1977, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Four children were born from this union. Choosing God, Family, Love, and Life. Clifford found his purpose and direction in which he began to build his career by pursuing obtaining gainful employment, working multiple jobs to support his family. Work History: United States Postal Service- mail carrier, UC Hospital- custodian, VA Hospital- custodian, Marriot Hotel chain- housekeeper. Clifford was employed with Pierre Foods as a skilled meat grinder. After 6 years of service his health began to decline, forcing Clifford into retirement. Clifford was characterized as “Outspoken”. “What he said, He meant!” Some said he was cool and laid back. Others seen him as being reserved with a refined demeanor. He also had a very keen sense of fashion and loved to dress and dress very well.
Although Clifford was not affiliated with any specific religion denomination, he sought God’s face through his word. Engaging in daily bible readings, devotionals and biblical studies. Establishing a viable relationship with God. Clifford’s faith demonstrated his works as acts of kindness and compassion toward mankind. “He loved who he loved.” Giving back to the communities through seeds of hope, encouragement, compassion, mentoring wisdom and skills building of character one person, one family, one community at a time. Clifford loved boxing as well as watching boxing matches. He would take time out to teach youths as well as family members basic boxing skills. He enjoyed working with the youth. Clifford loved God, Family and Community. Clifford enjoyed watching Western and Crime movies/tv. His favorite “junk foods” were Reese’s Cups, Lorna Doone Cookies and Husman’s Potato Chips. His favorite food/meal were Potatoes and a “Greezay Burger!”
Clifford departed this life on Monday January 19, 2026. He was preceded in death by: Father- Clifford James Roseberry Sr., Mother- Elsie Cox, Dad- Thomas Cox Jr., Brother-Anthony Roseberry and Great-Grandson- Carter Joesiah Roseberry. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: wife- Teresa Rosebery, Sons- Roderick Stephens and Clifford Roseberry II (Sheena), Daughters- DeLesa Broadnax (Edward) and Shelly Roseberry (Natalie), 18 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren, Nephew- Greg Davis, Special lady Stacey Means, Siblings- Cora Clay (Michael), Thomas Cox III (Dorothy), Tyrone Cox, Vejer Cox (Latasha), Ronnie Cox (Tina), Sister-in-Law Marion “AKA Debbie” Roseberry, and a host of other Sisters-in-law, Brother-on-laws, and a host of other Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.
