Clarissa Pamela Murray went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Pam was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday, March 9, 1951. She joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Glendale at an early age.
Pam attended Eckstein School then Glendale Elementary School. She graduated from Princeton High School in ’69. After graduation, Pam started her career as an operator at Cincinnati Bell. She worked her way up to the accounting department from which she retired. Pam will always be remembered for her kindness, baking, and creativity. She loved baking and could whip you up a cake, pie, or cookies at a moments notice. Pam’s desserts were often requested by family and friends for special events. She could crochet up an afghan, sweater, hat, or scarf in a minute.
Pam loved hosting Thanksgiving dinner, telling everyone how to prepare their dish just right (the way she liked it). She loved shopping for the perfect gift for family and friends. If you ever needed anything, from advice to being corrected, you could always count on Pam. She was outspoken with strong opinions and believed in letting you know how she felt.
Pam loved her family members fiercely and would do any and everything to help them. She was a mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend full of love for everyone. Pam will be deeply missed by family and friends, but we are all better people for knowing and loving her and being loved back by her in return.
Pam is survived by her daughter, Felecia Murray; her grandchildren, James Travis, Ezetta McNeal, and Jordan Murray; her great grandchildren, Christina Travis, Amya Morris, Jamier Thompson, Jamee Travis, Madison Travis, Jeremiah McNeal and Jiana McNeal; her siblings; Otis and Ezetta Murray; and a host of family, friends.
Pam is predeceased by her parents, Otis and Mary Murray; and her brothers, Louis and Boris Murray.
