Christopher Leonard Hollie, II was born on November 2, 2002, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Mary L. Slater (Ruffin) and Christopher Leonard Hollie, I.
Chris attended Cincinnati Public Schools, where he was a student at Gamble High School. He later earned his high school diploma from Cincinnati Digital Academy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following graduation, Chris developed a strong work ethic. He maintained steady employment, continuously learning new skills that led to earning both standing and sitting forklift certifications. He was also skilled in residential and commercial construction trades.
During his time at Gamble High School, Chris played his favorite sport, basketball, and was proud to be part of a championship-winning team. Over time, he began to focus on his natural gift for making people laugh, both in front of and behind the camera.
Chris built a strong presence on social media, gaining over 30,000 followers through his creative content, unique characters, and engaging personality. He also discovered a passion for music, writing and recording his own songs. His talent earned him second place in his first live performance competition, and he continued performing live thereafter.
Chris loved life and embraced every opportunity to experience it fully.
He had a deep passion for streaming, taking walks in nature, and a newfound love for reading.
He was well-traveled for his age, visiting his favorite city, Los Angeles, celebrating his 21st birthday in Miami, and traveling to several other states and countries.
Christopher was known for his intelligence and his strong moral compass. He stood firm in his values, earning the respect of those around him, not just for what he knew, but for who he was.
Chris was blessed with a large and loving family. He was cherished by his mother, Mary (Slater) Ruffin; father, Christopher L. Hollie; bonus father, Shannon Ruffin; bonus mother, Stacey Manning; and his beloved Nana, Cheryl Hollie.
He was introduced to the Apostolic faith at a young age at New Jerusalem Apostolic Temple through his Nana and father. On October 23, 2022, Chris answered the call of the Lord, he was baptized in the name of Jesus and committed his life to his Lord and Savior. Chris enjoyed worshipping the Lord and would share his faith with his friends. He continued to grow in his faith until his passing on March 21, 2026, when God called him home.
Though his time here was brief, his impact was meaningful and lasting. His presence brought comfort, joy, laughs, smiles and inspiration, and his absence will be deeply felt.
Chris leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Mary (Slater) Ruffin (Shannon); father, Christopher L. Hollie; grandmothers, Cheryl E. Hollie and Cindy Slater; grandfathers, Leonard J.
