



















Christian Alexander Lee Cartwright was born on September 15, 1996, in Cincinnati, OH, to surviving parents, Robert Lee, Jr. & Renita Ann Cartwright (Liberty Township, OH). Christian was preceded in death by numerous ancestors, but most notably, his loving maternal grandmother, Toledo Harrison, and aunt Gail F. Peoples. He is survived by one brother, Robert Lee Cartwright, III, (Los Angeles, CA) two sisters Erica Lee Cartwright (Dayton, OH) and Tabitha Nicole Cartwright (Dallas, TX). Christian leaves to cherish his memory three amazing children, Sebastian Donavan Cartwright (Liberty Township, OH) and Leah Marie Lee and Nova Nicole Ann Cartwright both of Erlanger, KY. Christian is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Virginia R. Cartwright (Dayton, OH), aunts, Evangelist Nyra Davenport (Dayton, OH), Etta McBurrows, Iris Jackson, Renata Jackson all of Cincinnati, OH, devoted friend, Jack Cleary, and several, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends too numerous to name.
Christian was a free spirit, and gentle soul, who had hundreds of friends. Some referred to him as a “Gentle Giant. He loved and played football for The Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) and college football at Olivet College of Olivet Michigan. Christian was currently employed by Middletown Works /AK Steel. Christian also worked for the family business, Unity Media Limited (Gospel Superfest) as a production assistant, box office manager, security, and many other jobs during most of his teen and young adult life. As a child and teen, he grew up in the gospel music industry and was an avid fan of quartet-styled and urban contemporary gospel music. Eventually, Christian’s musical taste was broadened in scope as he loved many genres of music.
Christian was loved by most everyone he encountered and has left an indelible impression on the hearts of his family and friends. Christian departed this life on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
Christian’s radiant personality and his love for family and friends will always be a cherished memory for those who knew him best.
Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 6:00 PM at the Greater Emanual Apostolic Temple Church where the honorable Suffragan Bishop LaVelton J. Daniel is Senior Servant Pastor and Patricia A. Daniel is first lady. The church is located at 1150 W. Galbraith Road in Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
Please note that all covid safety protocols will be in place and practiced at the church. Masks are required and temperature checks will be administered upon arrival.
