Cash Calloway, Sr was born November 29, 1967, in Cincinnati, OH to Joann Jones and Larry Calloway, Sr. He was baptized at Inspirational Baptist Church and baptized at Abundant Life Apostolic Church years later. Cash departed this life on April 3, 2023.
Cash attended Annunciation Christian School from Elementary to Middle School. He also attended Aiken High School where he excelled academically and in sports. Cash was gifted with intelligence and often bragged that he helped others graduate by allowing them to cheat off his tests. After school, he enlisted in the Marine Corp where he proudly served his country.
Cash excelled as a real estate agent for over 30 years. He later became a truck driver, whereas he and his wife became owners of P & C Transportation.
Cash fell in love with the love of his life and his best friend, Pamela Thompson. They married on March 14, 2020. Cash was very happy that he married under the law of God. They were blessed with over three years of marriage. Their union was blessed with a well-blended family of eight children.
Cash was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a family-oriented man and loved his family dearly. Cash was kind and very generous. If you needed anything, he would come through for you. He loved to smile because he loved life, especially his passion for football. No one was a truer fan of the Dallas Cowboys. When Cash entered a room, it would light up with joy and laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Cash was preceded in death by his father, Larry Calloway, Sr and brother, Anthony Brown.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife, Pamela Thompson-Calloway; mother, Joann Jones; brother, Larry Calloway, Jr.; two daughters, Erica Engleman (Antonio) and Jade Stevenson; six sons, Antwane Calloway, Davion Jackson, Cash Calloway, Jr., Jonathan Thompson, Jordan Thompson and Joshua Thompson; eight loving grandchildren; a father-in-law, mother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
