



















































Carolyn Ann Patterson , one of eleven children, was born to the union of James Patterson and Barbara White on June 21, 1945. Carolyn heard the flutter of angel’s wings and departed this life to be with the Lord on May 21, 2015.
Carolyn confessed in Christ at an early age at the First Baptist Church
of Woodlawn, where she was a member of the choir. In her later years, Carolyn was blessed with three children: Lavonda, Spencer and Michael, which extended her legacy of love.
Carolyn was also known to family and friends as “Aunt Peanut” and “Granny”. Her smile was contagious, her spirit of laughter was deeply heartfelt. She did her part to ensure that all children in her presence felt loved, important, and fully favored.
She leaves her spirit behind to celebrate her ascendance to heaven: (children) Lavonda (Dexter), Spencer Sr. and Michael; (grandchildren) Brionna (Ronald), Spencer Jr. (Amber), Brittany, Jerrod, Alexandra, Keyilah, R.C. Spencer, Dexter Jr., Steven; (great grand-children) Elliahna, Maelynn, Isaiah, Steven Jr., Tevin, and those to come…; (sisters) Loretta (Willie) Gill, Cynthia (Samuel) Conn, Marshalle (Ben) Crossty; (brothers) Alvin Patterson Sr., Andre (Queenie) Jones, Anthony.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, (sister) Brenda Kennedy, (sister-in-law) Tondeylai Patterson, (brothers) Michael Patterson, Donald Patterson and Kenneth Patterson.
