Carol Yvonne Gaines (Miller) was born on December 17, 1953. She was the baby of 9 children born to the late Clark and Hettie Miller. Carol was educated in the Cincinnati Public School System, where she was later employed and retired after 30 years.
Carol accepted Christ at an early age, becoming a devoted member of New Sardis Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Brandford Brown.
She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Carol was an avid cruiser, having been on more than 20 cruises.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings, Laura, Henrietta, Clark Jr., Anna, Moses, Evelyn, Nathaniel, and Charlene; two great-granddaughters, Jaianna Young and Aniyah Talley; and bonus daughter, Carla Gaines.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory; three children, Treea Gaines, Tekeitha Talley (Chris), and Jerome Gaines Jr.; bonus daughter, Bonita Gaines; seven grandchildren Treanna, Christopher (Marsheal), LaKeitha, Jelisa, Brandon, Anthony, and Rosalia; ten great grandchildren; three cherished sister friends, Pam Norris, Ann Talley, and Tanya Joe; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
