Brea Wesley-Nicole Pitts, age 24, made her transition to her eternal heavenly home on July 11, 2020. She was born on November 11, 1995 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandmother, Betty Shepherd. Brea leaves to cherish her memories; parents, George and Blanda Pitts of Cincinnati, OH; three sisters, DeErris (Shawn), Avery of Haughton, LA. (Barksdale Airforce Base), Samone Pitts of Greenville, NC. (Seymour Johnson Air Force Base) and Janell Pitts of Washington, DC.; two brothers, DeRonnie (Abbi) Pitts of Cupertino, CA and Javon Pitts of Arizona; one nephew, Lennox Pitts of Cupertino, CA; a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and best friend, Jamila Latham.
Brea was a member of Word of Deliverance Ministries for the World Inc. She attended Princeton High School, where she was a member of the PHS Cross Country team, Girls Track team, Symphony Orchestra and NJROTC. Brea graduated Princeton high School in 2014. She then served in the United States Airforce, where she proved to be a stellar airman, being a recipient of the “Below the Zone” early promotion award and Various Airman of the Quarter Awards. She resurrected a volunteer program and became the first female of her base to enter and complete the United States Marine Corps – Non Commissioned Officer Program for Staff Sergeants. She then received a medical honorable discharge from the Airforce. Brea became a youth counselor for the Boys and Girls Club of North Carolina where she made a positive impact on the lives of many displaced teens. Brea enjoyed expressing herself through painting, writing, creating YouTube content, roller skating and her favorite, spending quiet time in nature.
Brea will be remembered as a bright shining light in the lives of those that were blessed to know her worldwide.
