Bonita E. Greene

Bonita’s legacy of love and kindness lives on through her cherished family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Burris; and father, Eddie Russell. She is survived by her loving son, Danyea Gray, who was the light of her life. Her brothers, Eric Russell, Edgar Russell, and Aaron Russell, will forever hold her close in their hearts, cherishing the memories they shared as siblings. Additionally, Bonita leaves behind the grandchildren she adored: Danyea Gray, Ciara Gray, and Dasia Gray.

To honor the life of Bonita E. Greene, funeral services and ceremonies will be held at THJ Chapel on September 5, 2023. The public is invited to pay their respects during the viewing, which will begin at 10:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, where loved ones will gather to reminisce and celebrate Bonita’s remarkable life. Finally, a graveside service will take place at Walnut Hills Cemetery at 12:45 pm, where Bonita will be laid to rest.

In her passing, Bonita E. Greene leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She will forever be remembered as a hardworking and compassionate soul who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
