Beverly Jean Grant-George was born on August 20, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the youngest of four daughters. She was born to the union of Bosie William Grant and Betty E. Davis Grant.
Beverly departed this life on March 1, 2026, at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, approximately at 10:59am.
Beverly attended Cincinnati Public Schools, graduate of Hughes High School. She worked at ARA Uniform Company in Norwood, Ohio. She later worked as a caregiver, taking care of many children and pursued her passion for cooking for many people, events, and organizations. Her door was always open to feed anyone when she could. Beverly will always be known for the world’s best salmon croquette, melt in your mouth collard greens, and amazing apple-peach cobbler.
Beverly pastime hobby was manicuring her house, her plants, and naming each one. Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee George (Bobby); parents, Bosie and Betty Grant; sisters, Jearell (Jerry) Ross and Jamie Williams; and brother, Robert Harris.
Beverly leaves to cherish her memory three loving children, daughter Bettina Grant and sons, DeShon (Arista) and JaMarr (Shavonne) Grant; sisters, Mary Frances Williams (Cookie) and Diane McCants; brothers, Anthony and Tortiano Williams.
Beverly also leaves to cherish her memory grandchildren, Destini, Naomi, DeShon Jr., DeAira, Mikyla, Bryan, Javon, Arielle, Jamiyah, Devon, Simone, and Jah’Mir; great grandchildren, Ja’lyla, Iyland Gia, Diamond, and Jdrue; and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, aunts, and dear friends.
