To: Troy, Jerry, Booney, Racheal, and Paul. And Family Betty Gean and I were childhood playmates. I am reminiscing about Findlay Street. Reflecting on our childhood. When next door neighbors were actually family. When we sat on the front stoop until day break. Seeing who could last the longest. When we counted cars on the way to Crosley Field, pretending they were ours. I remember Troy paired with my late brother George, Betty Gean was my age and partner in crime. Jerry paired with Stan and Peach. Sorry Booney, you came along later, I don't remember what happened after that. Betty and I went all they way to Courter Tech HS. We went to Church together with the Poole's Barber Shop Gang. Then Life Happened. Rachael, and Paul I am so sorry for your loss. Guys my heart goes out to you and your family for the lost of your sister. I feel a significant part of my childhood has departed this world. Rest in peace Betty, and maybe we can be neighbors again. Meet up with the Barber Shop Gang and have church. Sit on that heavenly stoop and count the stars, that he knows by name. Debbie Dennis and Family 819 Findlay Street

To my mom, missing you already every second, minute and hour of the day. You created a strong devoted son to you and the Father. What memories we shared and laughter through it all. I am by sister side every step of the way and will not allow her to fall weak to sorrow. I am built strong through your spirit and wisdom. What I always hear is that, "You look just like your mother," and what they don't realize is that I also have other characteristics of you as well. For instance, we share the same smile, we share the same since of humor, we share the same serious behavior when needed. In general, mama I have the same heart beat in rhythm as well. Words are remarkable but pictures are memorabilia to the soul. What you always said was, " God is Good All the Time." Yes mama HE is because he created the most loving mom, friend and cheerful giver on earth. Love you mom and I'm picking up where I left off and that is talking to you everyday just like your still here with me. Love you mama, we'll talk later.

The eulogy was perfect for Betty. The way she accepted her illiness, you could tell she had her hands in God's hand. I feel this has always been her way of life. I remember coming to see Betty while she was sick expecting to cheer her up, but instead I left feeling like I had just been to a party. There was no sorrow there. We talked about everything and the laughter, we laughed, boy did we laugh. It was just amazing to see how current Betty was about our country, our nation, and the world. On sports, she new it all. She covered all the different sports teams. What I liked about Betty was she never stopped learning and growing. I know I will miss her. Cousin Birdia
