Benetta Walker

Benetta Jean Walker (Laury) was born August 28, 1959 in Cincinnati Ohio. Benetta was born to Barbara Jean Jarrell and Wayne Laury whom both preceded her in death. As well as grand and great grandparents whom preceded her in death: Oleana Nixon, Ruben Pete Nixon, Willa B Finney and Lucy Mae Crosby.

Benetta grew up in Walnut Hills, she attended St. Francis De Sales, Marian Jr. High and later graduated from Hughes High School in 1977.

Later in life Benetta became a Private Heath Care Coordinator which she loved and had a passion for. She also attended The University of Cincinnati. While there she received her Associate’s Degree.

Benetta enjoyed things such as concerts, comedy shows, The Cincinnati Bengals (Who Dey)! and cooking, especially for her family!

Benetta leaves behind her loving spouse: Maurice Williams; son: Romeil Laury; daughter: Yawna Thomas (Laury) (Valdazz Thomas) grandchildren: Unique Gentry, Desire Gentry, Akilah Laury, Heaven Laury, Serenity Laury, Romeil Laury Jr. Lyric Laury; brothers and sisters: Pamela Laury (Lejwan Laury & India Laury), Othello Laury (Othello Byndon, Alexis Storey and Karlis Graham), Oleana Laury (Jasmine Robertson), Valerie Senior (Michael Chandler, Christopher Senior and Sean Senior) Ronald Brumby Jr. (Jazmin, Erica, Keandray, Dimitria, Deyon, Taja, Serenity, Anotionette, Demonte, D’Ron, Destiny); and a host of other family whom she loved dearly.
