Our beloved father was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 27, 1952, to Mary Sue McQueen and Willie Roberson. Throughout his life, he embodied strength, warmth, humor, and generosity—touching the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
He is survived by his devoted sister, Pauline Roberson, his loving wife, Wanda Roberson, and his two sons, Anthony Roberson (Amber) and Steffen Roberson. He also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren: Khiry (Trey), TreShaun (Paco), Jacob, James (Moo Moo), Elijah, Arianna, Adon, and Blaike.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved grandson, Ay’King (Brownie), whose memory he held close to his heart.
A lover of jazz and all things soulful, he found joy in good music, good company, and the thrill of sports—especially boxing, one of his lifelong passions. Education and learning were important to him; he attended the University of Cincinnati, where he earned his Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, dedicating himself to the study of human society and relationships.
He lived with compassion, curiosity, and a deep love for his family. His legacy will continue through the stories we share, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.
He will be forever missed and always remembered.
