In Loving Memory of Anthony “Tony” Paul Hill Sr.
Anthony “Tony” Paul Hill Sr., age 69, was called home to be with the Lord sooner than expected on October 26, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, following complications after a surgical procedure. He was surrounded by family and friends.
Tony Sr. will be remembered as a quiet, thoughtful man with a deep passion for fashion, football, and his personal appearance. He took pride in how he presented himself and understood that it was a reflection of who he was. He was a man of substance—someone who observed, thought deeply, and was comfortable being himself in any setting.
Tony Sr. retired from public safety at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where he faithfully served as a security officer. He also worked as a security officer at several schools throughout the Cincinnati area.
Those who knew him understood that he valued honesty and authenticity. He did not always seek the spotlight or the company of a crowd, but he had his own unique way of connecting with the people and world around him. He was independent in spirit, thoughtful in nature, and unmistakably himself.
He leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Anthony Paul Hill Jr. (Casey) and Curtis Hill; grandchildren, Lucas and Xavier; brother, Donald E. May (Phyllis); his close and favorite cousin, Anita Johnson; his former wife and current friend, Cheryl; and other immediate family members. He will also be fondly remembered by extended family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched throughout the years.
Tony Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Carol Ingram (Menifee) and Frank Hill Jr.; grandparents, Frank Hill Sr., Hazel Menifee, and Joseph Menifee Sr.; brothers, Ronald May and Richard Hill; and uncle, Joseph Menifee Jr.
Although his passing was unexpected, the memories of his life and the person he was will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His quiet presence, independent spirit, thoughtful nature, and unmistakable individuality will never be forgotten.
