Celebration of Life for Anna Louise Sims
In loving Memory
Anna Louise Sims, born to Clarence and Geneva Sims answered God’s call to eternal life on Friday March 13, 2026.
She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was affectionately known as “Lucy” to her family.
She was a member of the Jerriel Baptist Church baptized in June 1978. She attended church until her health declined. She watched and enjoyed Sunday church services online. Throughout her life she trusted in God and remained faithful.
She graduated from Aiken High School and received her Associate degree from CTC (Cincinnati Technical College). She worked at University of Cincinnati as a Payroll Account. She enjoyed sewing, making some of her own stylish outfits, bowling, watching TV and movies and spending time with her family. She could be found nearly every Sunday rooting for her hometown Bengals during football season.
She was preceded in death by her father Clarence Sims Jr. and her nephew Curtis Joseph Harris. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother Geneva Sims, brothers Charles Sims (Lana), Clarence Sims III (Roberta); sisters Janet Haysbert, Carol Sims and Genevieve Sims, nieces and nephews; Katrina Brown, Cecil Harris (Monique), Andrea Sims Cody (Derek), Aaron Bennett, Kendra Bennett, Cassandra Jones (William), Clarence Sims IV, Charles Sims Jr. (Khadijah); 14 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nieces and nephews. Anna also leaves a host of cousins and friends whom she loved dearly. Special neighbors Annie and George Powell, and Jerome Bell.
