Angela Antoinette Brunner was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 11, 1958 to Mark L. Brunner and Doris Mae (Moore) Brunner. She departed this life on October 5, 2023.
Angela, affectionately known as “Nette” was born and raised in Cincinnati and graduated from Woodward High School where she participated in the Booster Club and on the Volleyball Team. She attended the University of Cincinnati and Best Business College where she received an associate degree.
She was an exemplary employee at the Internal Revenue Service where she served as a tax examiner and in internal investigations for 33 years. She was a part of the Morale Committee and enjoyed planning parties and special events for her coworkers. Angela loved parties, laughter and having fun! But more importantly, she loved her family, her friends, the Bengals, the Bearcats, her church and most of all she loved God. Angela’s daily companion, and one of the joys of her life, is her dog Miles. Angela had Miles since he was a puppy and he is currently 15 years old. They were inseparable and he is missing her dearly.
In her younger years, Angela confessed her hope in Jesus Christ and was baptized at Beulah Baptist Church, later attending New Christian Life. At the time of her transition, Angela was a faithful member of New St. Paul Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop David Thomas, Sr. She loved gospel music and spent countless hours communing with God through music.
Angela was preceded in death by her devoted father, Mark L. Brunner and stepfather, John Houston.
She leaves in loving memory: her mother, Doris Mae Brunner; her brother, Marcus Lee Brunner (Vanessa) and sister, Judy Rena Battle (Curtis); the father of her children, Michael Hatcher; her loving children, Donte Lamar Hatcher (Simone) and Timika Nicole Hatcher; five grandchildren: Elijah Donte Williams, Ezaiah Michael Hatcher, Emir Johntae Williams, Harper Hatcher and Honeste Davis; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
