It has been stated that this was the first time that all 50 states were able to witness this astonishing event. It was during this miraculous time that the gates of heaven opened and welcomed Andrea Denise Riley-Gable into its kingdom where she was greeted with open arms by her parents, Valerie Yvette Riley (Robb) and Howard F. Riley along with her maternal grandparents, Abdul Robb Jr. and Julia Mae Robb (Brown), her uncle, Michael W. Robb Sr. and her beloved cousin Michael W. Robb Jr.
Dee, as she was affectionally called, had a kindred spirit and lived a life full of wonder, curiosity, creativity and joy. As a child she spent a lot of time with her aunts, uncles, and cousins, playing with them at her grandmother’s house in Mt. Healthy. She attended Catholic schools for most of her primary education and upon graduating from Roger Bacon High School went on to attend Wright State University. After leaving Wright State she welcomed into the world her pride and joy, Endya Lauren Riley. Dee lived to enjoy being a mother, friend, and confidant to Endya. After years of being a single parent she met and married Kenneth (Kenny) Gable where they both shared a love of their “fur babies”.
In addition to treasuring her relationship with Endya and Kenny, Dee loved to be creative with various forms of artwork and enjoyed collecting both African and Asian artifacts, both that could be seen in her home and in her dress. She also was very interested in Native American culture and had a collection of dream catchers and Native American pictures and other forms of art. When she wasn’t yelling BINGO! at one of the many bingo halls around the city Dee spent her time doing DIY art projects, drawing, and training her fur babies.
She leaves to cherish her memories and the joy of her being her loving daughter, Endya Lauren Riley, her husband, Kenneth Gable, her aunts and uncles, Abdul Robb III, Derek Robb (Caroline), Melanie Covington (Jimmy), Ansul Robb (Tammy), Deborah Robb and Julian Robb, her fur babies Kobie and King Louis Vuitton, as well as a host of cousins, friends, and family.
