Aaron Strayhorn Jr., age 80, passed away on November 5, 2021. Aaron was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Aaron Strayhorn Sr. and Charlotte Strayhorn on August 29, 1941.

He was preceded in death by Aaron Strayhorn Sr. (Father), Charlotte Strayhorn (Mother); siblings, Willie L. (Bert) Strayhorn, Marion (Ernest) Barnes, Daisy (Jessie) Tyus, Dorothy (Warren) Childress, Flossie (Sammy) Geralds, and Laverne Strayhorn.

He leaves to cherish his memory, twin brother, Ernest (Lillie) Strayhorn Sr.; two sisters, Sadie Strayhorn and Mary E. Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 beginning at 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Thompson Hall & Jordan Funeral Home 11400 Winton Road, Forest Park, Ohio 45240. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 beginning at 12:00 PM via zoom. (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/2223333042)

It's been awhile since I saw Aaron but he was always so friendly, kind and funny. I will miss seeing him run in the church always seeming to be in a rush with his fur coats. From what I know and remember of him he was a wonderful man. He will truly be missed. Donna Allen Murray
