Derrick Myers has been in the funeral service industry since 2009. His passion for funeral service came from the care, compassion, and professionalism he received when he lost his mother, Marie Myers. Since then, he has served countless families with those same characteristics.
Derrick attended Mt. Healthy City Schools and graduated in 2008. His undergrad was at Central State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. He taught music in Dayton Public Schools for four years. After teaching he attended and graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2018.
Derrick is a musician and a licensed and ordained minister. His talents and gifts allow him to serve families in many different capacities. He has a genuine love for people and tries to convey that love through compassionate service.
He is blessed to be married to Quinn Myers (nee Sutton) and to raise his four daughters, Niel, Natalie, Kay and Demi. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church. Derrick is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
