Yahmeahhah “AKA Louise Sparks” Yisrael

Yahmeahhah “Louise” Yisrael was born April 22, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Frank Rowland Sr. and Mozell Rowland. She was the second oldest girl out of 7 children. She was preceded in death by two of siblings: Frank Rowland Jr. and Barbara Rowland. She completed her earthly journey and was called home on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

Yahmeahhah professed her life to Yah at a young age. She was a loyal and faithful servant, who understood and  cherished all the commandments. Yah knows why he called her home so soon, with her being a special person to him and her family.

Yahmeahhah was educated through Cincinnati Public schools where she received her high school diploma from Withrow High School. She then went to further her education at Xavier University and received her associate degree.

On July 26, 1970, Yahmeahhah married Gary Sparks. From this beautiful union, four children were born, Gary Jr., Terry, Anthony and Anita. Yahmeahhah worked as a Radiologic Technologist at the UC Health Medical Center for 27 years until her retirement in 2016.

Even with Yahmeahhah’s hard work, she made time to do things she enjoyed doing. She enjoyed attending to her beautiful yard, listening to RB oldies, and home DIY projects.

Yahmeahhah leaves to cherish her memory: her four children, Gary Sparks Jr., Terry (Frankie) Sparks Sr., Anthony Sparks, and Anita (Tony) Carter; five grandchildren, Terry Jr., Lorenzo, Armani, Ariyanna, and Paris; 5 step-grandchildren; four siblings, Charles Rowland, Delorise Sparks, Hadassah Yisrael nee Esther Rowland, and Yahnoo Yisrael nee Melvin Rowland; one uncle, Rev. Fredrick Rowland; 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
