William Floyd Brantley was born June 18, 1940, to the late William L. and Carrie Brantley in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was raised in Cincinnati and graduated from Taft High School. William Floyd Brantley was born June 18, 1940, to the late William L. and Carrie Brantley in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was raised in Cincinnati and graduated from Taft High School. He was fondly called “Bo” to family and friends.
He married Norma Brantley and to this union they were blessed with a son, William II. At an early age he accepted Christ at Corinthian Baptist Church. He sang in the Inspirational Choir and was also honored as a senior of the month.
William retired from General Motors after 40 plus years of service. He loved his past time of reading the bible daily, traveling, and communicating with family and friends, and working on cars.
William is survived by his loving wife, Norma; sons, William II, Johnny, and Danny; siblings, Robert Brantley, Marilyn Johnson, West Johnson, Terry Johnson, Sharon White (Raymond); grandchildren, great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
William’s warm spirit, caring attitude, words of motivation, wisdom, encouragement, sense of humor, his class and style will deeply be missed.
William always maintained his faith and relationship with Christ until the very end.
