Susan was a kind, loving, giving and remarkable lady. Our deepest condolences and prayers are extended to the family. God Bless. Rosemary, Hayes and Jackie McClendon
I first remember the first time we met at a T-Ball practice in Woodlawn, in which our boys Mark & Dwight and my son Keith were so young and eager to play baseball. Over the years I knew her as a community minded woman that cared about people. She was creative and caring and she leaves a deep wound in the hearts of family and friends, but the wound will be filled with loving memories and a legacy. You have my deepest sympathies.

I know Ms Farley thru my church , First Baptist Church of Woodlawn and thru my family, the Melsons. She always came to our family functions and she will be missed. Love and condolences to her family. From Kesha Melson Cheatham Denson
I'll miss her stories she would tell at council meetings and her straight forwardness. I smile when I remember her. Great and gracious lady and I'm glad to have known her and her family. JoAnn F. Jewell

I only knew Ms. Farley and her son Craig for these last two years. I delivered meals on wheels to her every Wednesday. She would be getting ready for her dialysis treatment, but was always gracious and thankful. When she spoke, it was always about faith and family. I so admire these values and her lifetime of service to Woodlawn. It was an honor to know Ms. Farley.

To the family of our dear Susan Upton Farley:
It truly breaks our hearts to learn that she has passed on. Please accept our condolences.
Susan will be remembered in the pages of history with respect by all who were privileged to know her. She always embraced the positive no matter how high the mountain that faced her. Susan’s patience and determination would always take her to the ultimate goal; she was the voice standing strong and proud for those who could not speak; the warrior for those too weak to fight. Her powerful legacy has put a stamp on the future and made an outstanding contribution to future generations.
Her rich culture, strong God-fearing family up-bringing prepared Susan for life’s battles. She like other distinguished leaders gone on before her stood in unison for freedom, justice and equality. She was a personal family friend who will always have a special place in our hearts and who will never be forgotten.
We pray that the angels will guide her safely to the pearly gates of the Almighty and upon her arrival the trumpets will sound and the gates will swing open to welcome her home in paradise.

It has been our pleasure for several years to be associated in many public service activities with the Hon. Susan Upton Farley. The citizens of The Village Of Woodlawn were indeed blessed to have Susan as their Mayor. We will always remember that Susan officiated at the wedding of our granddaughter Audrey Kattelman Artis and her grandson Bobby Artis, Jr. In addition, were are extremely pround that Susan was the great-grandmother of our great-grandchildren Lylah, Kayleigh, and Jayden Artis. Our Lord now has the privledge of having someone to help with heavenly leadership and organizational needs. Rest in peace, dear friend. Janey and Paul Kattelman

Susan Upton Farley was one of the most dedicated and effective civic leaders in all of the Princeton communities. Each time I had the pleasure to work with her, I always felt inspired by her personal and professional way of getting the job done. She had a smile that could boost you, and light up a room at the same time. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with the family. She is gone home now, never to be forgotten, and so sorely missed.
