Ruby J. Conerly left this earth on July 31, 2014. She was born in Macon, Mississippi on August 14, 1929 to the proud parents of Ephrim and Sadie Spann.
At the age of six, she came to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she attended Cincinnati Public School.
Ruby came to Christ at the age of 12 and was baptized by the Rev. Joseph Hudson of Peace Baptist Church.
She worked at the Holmes and University Hospital for 29 years, from where she retired on February 1, 1990.
Ruby was preceded in death by her father, Ephrim; a precious mother, Sadie; a loving sister, Mary Barber; and a darling daughter, Yvonne Harris.
Left to remember her life and cherish her memories are: her nieces, Cherry Wilcox and Constance Bolden; great nieces and nephews, Deneen Shupshaw, Tara Riddlie, Stacy Wilcox, Larry Sheckles, Ronda Bolden and Phillippi Bolden; best friend, Mary Hinkston; and a host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
