Ruby Carroll

Ruby Elizabeth Carroll “Ruby Elizabeth Boyd” was born on August 25, 1926, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Hattie Fannings Boyd and Otis Boyd, Sr.
Ruby completed her high school education in Lanett, Alabama.
She confessed her life to Christ at an early age.
Ruby was married to the late James W. Carroll, who preceded her in death in 1992 after they were married for 44 loving years. She and Jim were faithful members at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Auburn. Ruby was a member of the Matrons Guild for many years.
Ruby worked several jobs throughout her life. Her last job was as a cosmetic consultant for Federated Department Stores in Cincinnati until her retirement.
She was a resident of Los Angeles, California from 2008 until her passing.
Ruby went home to be with God on November 10, 2013.
Ruby leaves to cherish her loving memories: her loving son, Roscoe Carroll (Gabrielle Bullock); granddaughter, Elissa Carroll of Los Angeles, California; sister-in-law, Mattie Boyd; brothers, William (Juanita), James and Clifton (Charlene) Boyd of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Emma McCullogh of Waukegan, Illinois; and many loving nieces and nephews.
