?A Time to Be Born? ? On November 30, 1931, a bright radiant child was born to Walter Hudson and Marie Smith, in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was the youngest of three children.
?A Time to Love? ? Rose met the love of her life, Guy Copeland, Jr. and in 1974, she was joined in holy matrimony, until his death in 1993. She spent the rest of her days shared with Vaughn Williams.
?A Time to Build? ? She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age under the pastorate of the late Rev. Edward McGee. Later, she recon-firmed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior under the pastorate of Dr. Cecil Ferrell. The Lord blessed her with several talents which were cooking, sewing, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Security Officer, and a mother (?Momma Rose?) figure to others (Stevette Mack, Traci Collier, Ron Clayton, Daryl Jackson, Steve Jones and Rev. Mark Miller) just to name a few, and many others.

Rose Marie Copeland answered the Lord?s call to enter into God?s Kingdom, July 24, 2012 @ 12:03 a.m. Preceding her in death is her loving daughter, Deborah Hudson-Sellers; cherished mother, Marie Smith; beloved sisters, Thelma Williams and Alberta Duerson; one aunt, Hester Mack; and cousins, Patricia Hawkins and Charles Roach.
?A Time to Cherish and Rejoice? ? She leaves to cherish her pre-cious memories: sister, Daisy Wallace-Flowers (Johnny); son, Donald D. Hudson, Sr. (Patricia); four step-daughters, Sarah Taylor (George), Mary Barksdale (John), Ruby Copeland and Lilly Tharrington (Charles); five granddaughters, Alisa R. Sellers-Smith, Reyonne Riley, Dushawn A. Sellers, Dawn Marie Hudson and Ladonna Nared; five grandsons, Donald D. Hudson II, Curtis J. Van Hudson (Latoya), D?Angelo Sellers, Eric Cook and Dwayne Cook; three special cousins, Anthony Mack (April), Doris Mack and Deborah Mack-Henderson (Willie); 26 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and a host of great nieces, nephews, cous-ins, family and friends.
