Randy Darren Vaughn Sr. (PJ) was born to Angela Davidson and Danny Henson in Cincinnati, OH on March 14, 1978. He departed his earthly life and gained his heavenly wings on Friday, December 15, 2023.
Randy’s journey through education began at Anderson Place Elementary and continued on at Walnut Hills High School, culminating in his graduation from Withrow High School in 1996. An avid sports enthusiast, he showcased his athletic abilities on the football field at Walnut Hills, where fate smiled upon him, introducing him to the love of his life, Erica Vaughn.
Randy and Erica were joined in holy matrimony on January 16, 2000. They welcomed their firstborn, Randy Vaughn Jr., followed by the arrival of his princess, Riyah Vaughn. Embracing a new chapter, Randy shifted gears to join the United States Postal Service in 2007, earning the moniker of the “Madville Mailman.”
Beyond his professional endeavors, Randy’s generous spirit shone brightly in his commitment to coaching his son and mentoring youth in the community. Randy loved to cook, and his famous dish was his “White Chicken Chili” and added flavor to the football season with his beloved smoker, all while passionately cheering for his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Randy was an avid traveler. His goal of visiting all 50 states neared fruition, leaving his passport full of stamps from destinations like Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Hawaii, and St. Thomas.
A vibrant soul, Randy was the heartbeat of any gathering. Unapologetically loud, he embraced life as the ultimate jokester, leaving cherished memories with family and friends. Today, we celebrate the extraordinary life of Randy Darren Vaughn Sr., a luminous soul whose radiance will forever illuminate our hearts.
